As part of the educational offer at the museum there is a selection of workshops available to children’s groups, to suit different ages. During the summer holidays there are also two set dates on the agenda!
In the footsteps of Emperor Max
When was Kufstein fortress built, why is the Kaiserturm tower actually called the Kaiserturm, how deep is the well and what has all this to do with Emperor Maximilian? During an exciting treasure hunt little ones get to head out in the footsteps of Emperor Maximilian, facing crafty, puzzling questions, finding hidden clues and then solving the myth-enshrouded secrets of this impressive fortress on the lush banks of the River Inn.

Secret towers, hidden nooks
Along with a guide little ones, in appropriate clothing, head out on a mysterious tour through the fortress, meeting valiant knights, large canons, thick walls and concealed secret corridors. On a journey of discovery through the past, little visitors find out all sorts of interesting information about the history and the function of the fortress.
