Since the very beginning events took place.

There has always been a lot going on at Kufstein Fortress.
It was just not called an event. It was plundering and conquesting instead.
Fortunately, this has changed: today there are no armies at the gates of the fortress. In fact, up to 4,200 guests can be hosted in this unique event location - at open-air events in the roofed area called "festungsarena", individually planned private or corporate events of all kinds, seminars and incentives as well as weddings.

The artillery vault

The artillery vault on the upper floor of the Kaiserturm tower was completly redesigned in 2015 and today is a stylish and exclusive banqueting hall.

Former castle chapel

The former castle chapel is today a stylish setting for small-scale events for up to a max. of 60 people, from the sophisticated ‘castle lord’s feast’ to an elegant gala dinner.

The festungsarena

The mobile roof on the festungsarena is a real eye catcher. It not only provides rain protection for company events, classical concerts and contemporary live-acts, it also emphasises the magical atmosphere of these old walls.
